As to the latest developments in the US-Saudi friendship

"The United States recently announced it has put together an arms package worth at least 20 billion dollars over 10 years for Saudi Arabia" whereas Lockheed got a $ 5 bln contract to train a 35 000 strong corps to defend Saudi oil facilities.

In view of such realities Dr Pipes' call to ban the Saudi airlines for idealistic reasons seems idealistic. Those in the US who will grab these mountains of money will rather ban Dr Pipes than give up a single dollar of their dirty Saudi billions. Or as someone put it "Where your treasure is, there your heart is also".
