Plato Takes Verses Out of ContextReader comment on item: Uniting to Exclude Saudi Arabian Airlines Submitted by Ashraf (India), Sep 2, 2007 at 23:38 Plato has taken a Quran's verse out of context and generalized that Quran is forbidding relationship with Jews and christians. The verse quoted by Plato is not a general statement. It refers to those who fight againts Muslims. The General advice by Quran to Muslims can be seen below "(Muslims!) God does not forbid you from being good to those who have not fought you in religion or driven you from your homes, or from being just towards them. God loves those who are just. God merely forbids you from taking as friends those who have fought you in religion and driven you from your homes and who supported your expulsion. Any who take them as friends are wrongdoers."
