Where does Tovey go wrong?

Reader comment on item: Stop the NYC Madrassa
in response to reader comment: Teaching Beliefs: What is a Belief Worth?

Submitted by Jess Williams (United States), Aug 16, 2007 at 11:32

I was truly taken with M. Tovey's article,"Teaching Beliefs", until he introduced the part about the plight of the Korean hostages in Afghanistan. He switches from a lucid examination of the facts of Islamo-Facist activities and descends into a religious diatribe of Christian beliefs, i.e. ; "Two of these messengers are already with Jesus Christ." The article truly goes downhill from there. I have never seen such a turnaround from such a fine beginning. Presenting facts is one way to wake up a sleeping population such as that here in America. Shoving the hogwash of religious belief down their throats should be reserved for the Islamo-Facists. Read his article, again, and tell me what you think!
