Abou this whole madrassa talk

Today May 14th 2008 being my first time to visit this site, i was amazed at how the world can feel so insecure about a group so un bothered.

From this page, the first impression one gets is of the whole world against a one Sayed Mohammed Ali. poor man!

My submission will be simple. If the non muslims cannot appreciate that Islam is here to stay, and will continue growing its membership and subscription no matter what happens, and stop feeling insecure about this bitter fact, then perhaps islam will continue being looked at as not different from terrorism, or anything along those lines.

I wonder why a simple word "madrassa", the arabic for "school" can cause so much controversy, and people even dont want to call them "schools" because it will create the impression that they are "normal" religious schools. Guys instead leave it in arabic to make it appear unique in a way.

People, lets appreciate that just like catholics have got seminaries and other establishments within which future religious and more committed individuals are groomed, Muslims also have a right to have schools within which religious virtues can be imparted into their young ones. They dont have to be incriminated for this.
