You say you are a strong woman, and not intimidated, which is good, and you should have no reason to be intimidated. But you gave no rational reason you wear the muslim scarf. Is it to keep your head warm, protect from the sun, perhaps a bad hair day, ? No; I suspect that you want to be exceptional, to be seen as a Muslim and to prove that you are a good muslim. Nothing wrong with wanting to be a good muslim, if wearing a head scarf does it for you then great, but at least admit the the rationale is Islamic.
