You want to be exact? O.K., let's be exact.

Webster's Dictionary: "article", n., 1. one of the sections of a document 2. a complete piece of writting, as in a newspaper, magazine, etc.

Your use of the word "article" led me to understand that you were commenting on Dr. Pipes' article. Here in this forum, we respond to articles provided by Dr. Pipes. We respond. We don't write articles.

Next, quoting you: "Also to clarify, i was specifically referring to terrorist acts targeted at Americans and the fact that the so called 'War on Terror' is responsible for more civilian casualties than it's oposer.". I'm assuming you mean the "so-called War on Terror" is responsible for more non-American civilian casualties. If that's true, you just made my day. WWII was not won by American civilian casualties out-numbering Japanese civilian casualties.

Quoting you in your last e-mail, "and if we really want to get into it, how many deaths a year are caused by athiests?" Really? Any numbers, Douggie? Come on, back it up (that means, give evidence).

Hitler was a self-proclaimed Christian? Come on, back it up.

You state that the vast numbers of civil-war casualties in Muslim countries were, and are, more often than not, the result of "political" and not "religious" conflict. Oh. I guess it's just a coincidence that these civil wars are Sunni-against-Shi'te; Sunni-against- Kurd, etc.

Again, quoting you: "Before we make ignorant abusive and insulting statements about any people group, we should actually check whether we actually know anything about what we are saying!!!"

I'd like to ask you a question, Douggie. Do you think it's a good thing Saddam is gone? Here's some more "actual knowledge":

Douggie, name any other leader "in the last fifty years" of any country that has killed that many of his own civilian populace.
