Our dear MyriamReader comment on item: Ban the Burqa - and the Niqab Too Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Aug 9, 2007 at 06:54 But our dear Myriam, Hindu women can also cover their heads, and many men cover their heads by wearing bandanas. do you want me to give you other exmaples? So Hindu women and men wearing bandanas are really wearing hijabs too? Your logic is flawed And no, a hijab is not a tarha and you know what? If you tell the folks at let us say al-Azhar that Mary or Mother Teresa used al-hijab and not a tarha they will think that you are funny. So are you funny our dear Myriam? So here is your little quiz for today and it is an open book question: What does the Arabic word Hijab really mean?
