Reader comment on item: "A Shot at Peace": Can the U.S. Enforce the "Road Map"

Submitted by Y Brandstetter (Israel), Jul 24, 2003 at 08:49

Washington will not even cringe if more Jews die as a result of the Hudna.
We would all like to think that Washington is the great superpower which directs its own actions. I wish. Washington was viciously attacked by a pack of soldiers from islamic Saudi Arabia. In response Washington put down one of the main threats to Saudi Arabia (iraq), continues to pay the blood-price to the tune of two American lives daily for Saudi oil and security, and pressures Israel to accept the fraudulent Hudna.
How many more dead Jews, abducted Jews, will it take for Israel to reject American propositions for self-immolation, and secure itself?
