THIS IS AN ARAB PROBLEM

Reader comment on item: "A Shot at Peace": Can the U.S. Enforce the "Road Map"

Submitted by ernest gold (United States), Jul 8, 2003 at 15:00

I think the real problem is that the Arab world has turned it's back on the Palestinians. The reason the Palestinians are in Gaza is they were rejected by other Arab nations. The easy thing is to blame Israel for there problems. What I'm trying to say is the other Arab nations must help the Palestinians - this is an Arab problem. What I mean by help is not just giving them money to pay young people to kill themselves.
They should have troops from Saudi Araba , Egypt, Jordan and others on the ground in Gaza to keep the peace and help create a Palestinian state. Other Arab countries have a peacefull existence with Isreal why can't the Palestinians?
