Reader comment on item: [Lee Harris on Why the U.S. is] Discarding War's Rules

Submitted by Reuven Aaron (United States), Jul 22, 2003 at 13:10

The radical-trouble-making Militant Muslims (as opposed to moderates who are either silent or nonexistent) say they love death. Arafat, as I'm writing, is encouraging Palestinian youth to die early and violently. Our culture values health care and longevity. But let's try playing by their rules for a change. Let's level the playing field. We need the president to throw the first pitch in this new game.
