two factions

Reader comment on item: Two Palestines, Anyone?

Submitted by true believer (India), Jun 19, 2007 at 09:21

There won't be two factions, the bolder and more violent one will eventually marginalize the other one out .The displaced one would try to eke out an existence by pretending to be friendly with the west (it already does) and serving as a poster boy for the "nice" terrorist (one who would kiss you before shooting you in the head), all the while planning and feverently hoping for Israel's destruction .

The west ( and even Israel) may give it something to keep it from shrinking to obscurity ( it sounds logical to choose the lesser evil ), thereby making matters worse ( it will be easier for palestinians to take sides now). Moslem masses will always side with the most radical group and palestinians are no exception. Nothing sells successfully in mollahdom as pure, unadulterated and open hate . The deception continues and so do the problems for Israel.

First you hold elections among those who don't deserve one. Even worse you allow terrorists to get legally elected to form government. Any ways it would be easier for Israel to "deal" with hamas, you wont have to bother about talking before you do the shooting.
