Gaza, the new Sudetenland redux

Reader comment on item: Two Palestines, Anyone?

Submitted by Jorgen Goderstad (United States), Jun 27, 2007 at 12:37

When Israel pulled out of the Gaza two years ago I posted a comment that Gaza would become the new Sudetenland. This is in reference to the portion of Czechoslovakia that Hitler demanded before grabbing the whole nation.

With Hamas now in control I may be proved correct, I am sad to say. It may be only a matter of time before Hamas controls all the Palestinian territories and strikes directly at Israel.
