Cutting off water and electricity = bad idea

Reader comment on item: Two Palestines, Anyone?

So basically you are saying that they should be starved into submission? That won't work because:
1. You would see smuggled videos of Palestinian women and children dying of thirst, hunger, and disease smuggled out of Gaza.
2. You would see an immediate oil embargo on the United States by Arab countries.
3. The EU, China, Russia, and almost every nation on earth would call for Israeli leaders to be charged with war crimes and hold the United States responsible for supporting Israel.
4. Most likely President Bush wouldn't support such an action. It was the Bush administration that forced Israel to call of its last invasion of Lebanon. A Democrat President and majority democrat Congress/Senate most definitely wouldn't support Israel in such an action.
