Reader comment on item: Two Palestines, Anyone?

Mr Pipes

As always your article hit the nail on the head. However I would like to point out one very important difference between Fatah and Hamas. AGE. The leadership in Fatah are all old men, between 60 and 70 years old. The fight has been taken out of them. They wish to reap the rewards of terror and that is the booty they have looted from arab and even western nations. The leadership of Hamas on the other hand are all realativly young, 30's and 40's. THey still can afford to be idealistic and they have a lot of fight in them.

In another 30 or 40 years assuming they survive, Hamas will be in the same position as Fatah. Wanting to just sit back and enjoy the spoils of terror.
