Higher Ed. is a better plan

Reader comment on item: On New York's "Khalil Gibran International Academy"
in response to reader comment: Great idea

Dhimmi no more is probably right. Islam will creep in anyway and a bunch of young teenagers would be ripe for Dawa efforts towards them by NYCs radical Islamic groups.

Better to teach the language on the University level. As a disgusted former liberal Democrat gone Independent , it pains me to say that very good candidates for such Arabic fluency programs would be our nation's plethora of Christian/Evangelical / Denominational Universities and Bible Colleges.

However, from web surfing I understand that , currently, it wouldn't make any difference anyway as our dhimmi government is refusing all sorts of offers and volunteers by non-Muslim Arabic speakers to help with the very serious translation backlog in favor of politically correct Muslims. Even bending over backwards to provide seperate restroom facilities, food, and prayer rooms. Our tax dollars at work!
