Pipes subcommittee comments

Reader comment on item: My Testimony before the House Subcommittee on Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations

Submitted by Dean (United States), Mar 16, 2007 at 22:52

In my stead, my oldest son, a senior at American University in DC, attended the 20 Feb subcommittee meeting Mr. Pipes gave testimony to.

It was a dramatic paradigm shift for him, further increasing his disregard for the PC driven mindset on campus, especially with respect to the various apologies given for the radical/extreme zealotry of Islamists.

He was especially impressed with the well articulated points Mr. Pipes expressed, un-inhibited and truthful as they were. He left the meeting with no doubt in his mind the other two speakers were incapable of keeping up with Pipes arguments.

I am pleased that he found meaning in the experience and that it gave credibility to what I had been suggesting for years.

Thank you Mr. Pipes for your effort on behalf of the facts and your ability to educate and influence with reason.
