Will this fairy tale never end?

Reader comment on item: My Testimony before the House Subcommittee on Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations

Submitted by DrRJP (United States), Mar 5, 2007 at 18:02

What would happen if both the Israeli government and the US government publicly stated, "We hereby adopt and support the position that not one inch of Israeli land will be given away to a government run by terrorists, and that Israeli land legally includes the West Bank, Gaza, and Jerusalem, as these were stolen away from the Jewish people by the Romans in the First Century. The only right of return that exists is the right to return to the Arab lands that expelled the 850,000 Jews who now live in Israel, or to the Palestinian State of Jordan which was carved out of the land intended to be the Jewish Homeland. If any Palestinian can legally prove that he or she, or any of their parents or grandparents were forcefully removed from these lands in 1948, then they can apply for Israeli citizenship."

They hate us whatever we do, so at least we can control the reasons why. There is no need to continue the fairy tale that there ever was a country called "Palestine" or that Palestinians are not the same as any other Arab.
