"Islamists will win the first elections, but will they win the second? If Islamists do not deliver once in power, they will fail; one need only look at Iran to see evidence of this fact."

Well, just as in Iran, there will not be a second chance for the electorate to wield any substantial power. And there will be no future, beyond the rising threat of another bloody revolution such as that which is currently brewing in Teheran.

After everything we have had to face up to recently, I cannot understand Mr Fuller's view.
