Did you see the Documentary --The Power of Nightmares: The Rise of the Politics of Fear It gives a good history of Syyid Qubt philosophy and of course one of his young pupils was
Sheikh Dr. Ayman Muhammad Rabaie al-Zawahiri. Oswald Spengler's The Decline of the West. has very real present day applications although it was published 1918.

Also

It is my belief as Spengler states--The only force which can counter money, in Spengler's estimation, is blood

Bet you a dollar QUBT, when he lived in the states 1948 ish or other read Spenglers book, he was very disillusioned with life in the west.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink,
you can provide food but you can't make someone have an appetite,
you can have hearing but you can't make them listen,
you can have sight but you can't make others see.

Only after enough BLOOD, will everyone tire -thus forgive and move on and start life anew- you won't-can't change their philosophy(Muslims) of the middle east Read spenglers analysis of Democracy, Media, Money
