islam is bogus for one simple reason. Mecca did not exist before the 4th century AD. So, this being true, Abraham and Ishmael could not have built the so-called temple there. Because of this, Islam has no leg to stand on. It crumbles.

Greek and Roman historians, geographers and explorers travelled the area where Mecca now exists and none (yes, none) of them ever mentioned Mecca in their chronicles which if Mecca had existed it would have been the most thriving city in the area and there would be no way all of these explorers would have omitted to mention it.

If anyone has any historically documented or archeological evidence to dispute the above, I'd be overwhelmed to hear about it.
