This is in response to post of Halim. What is said in the post is applicable ony to the religious muslims (true believers of Quran and hadees). I am a moderate muslim and am a hard core american patriot and many of my friends are the same way. What helped us shedding away the prejudices against non muslims/jews/americans (inflicting the believers) were writings of Ali Sina (faithfreedom.org), Ibne Warraq(secularislam.org), Anwer Shaikh (book section of faithfreedom.org) and last but not least Daniel Pipes. What promotes the prejudices are the speeches and writings coming out of the thousands of mosques. Best hope to fight islamic fanaticsm and to promote inclusion of muslims in the melting pot is to publicize and promote the websites and writings of the above people to the educated muslims.

Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
