Reader comment on item: [Hasan Akbar and] Murder in the 101st Airborne
in response to reader comment: Muslims not the only group prone to 'terrorism'

I know this was written almost a year ago, but I simply had to comment on it.

The difference between the Muslim religion and pretty much any other religion (let's exclude Satanism and just put that one in the Psychotic category) is that the Muslim religion specifically states in the Koran that Muslims are to slay anyone who will not convert to the Muslim religion. That is why they hate America so much - especially Christians and Jews in the U.S.A. - the U.S.A. is over 60% Christian, and we have a lot of jews living here.

They also believe that they must win some great bloody battle and then Muslims will rule the world. There are also a lot of other crazy things that Muslims believe... they believe that the Devil lives in your nose and you must wash it out three times each morning; they also believe that if they die in battle for "their god" (a good example is carrying out a terrorism tactic against America), then they are guaranteed a spot in heaven with 72 - count them - 72 wives at their disposal... so you can kind of get the feeling that they really don't fear dying if they think that if they die they'll end up with a whole slew of beautiful wives in heaven, and that makes a person pretty dangerous. I could go on, but if you want more ridiculous quotes from the Koran, you're more than welcome to read the silly book yourself. The Chrisitan Bible sugests no threats to non-Christians, and even says to love thy enemy, so you can just guess which book I choose to believe.

Also, hundreds of predictions made over the past 6,000 years that are written in the bible have already come true over time, and continue to come true to this day - and I can't think of one thing in the Bible that comes across as ridiculous. Most of the deaths tied with Christianity (as you mentioned the crusades and such) happened thousands of years ago - when nobody was safe from religious prosecution - even Jesus himself was called a blastphemer, and was crucified for claiming he was the son of God. In fact, while all this death tied in with all the religions was going on, the Muslims were doing the same thing then as they are now, only the threat of a terror attack is a lot easier with the advance in technology of our weapons. So, in answer to all your questions... it is absolutely ludicrous to even think of comparing the Muslim religion to any other religion (remember, we put Satanism in a completely seperate category... and that was to be fair to the Muslim religion, seeing as how Satanism is actually a bit more tame and less violent than the Muslim religion). In all fairness to all the other religions, we should actually put the Muslim religion in a category all it's own...
