Muslim Differences Only Go So Far

Reader comment on item: [Hasan Akbar and] Murder in the 101st Airborne

Submitted by Bonnie Arthur (United States), May 12, 2004 at 09:44

My problem with muslims is this. They will condemn an act, but you will not get them to condemn one another. When an American does an obvious wrong, most americans will rally on the side of "right" and want them punished. But Muslims will (if pushed into a corner) condemn the act. But will sit tight-lipped and mute when pressed to condemn a brother Muslim.
