Trust But Verify

Reader comment on item: [Hasan Akbar and] Murder in the 101st Airborne

Daniel Pipes is a latter-day Paul Revere, whose column in the New York Post I await eagerly. Given Muslims' appraisal of the United States as being in a war with Islam, I say trust but verify Muslims in the military. The United States (and American cities, counties, and states) should subject Muslims holding official jobs to background/security checks.

We Americans are in for a long war. Here's hoping the communists, fascists, and Islamists in the United States don't bring Pipes down with doubletalk of hate speech, insensitivity, chauvinism, or provoking street fighters (as the Chief of the Portland Fire Department told firemen not to fly the flag upon fire trucks, the stated rationale being a desire not to provoke street people chanting, "Peace!").
