Reader comment on item: The Vatican Confronts Islam
in response to reader comment: confronting Islam

I suppose I'm echoing the same sentiments as many on this blog. Really, what has changed? Throughout history the Islamic nations have done the same thing, namely kill their enemies. Despite what the President and some Islamic clerics stated shortly after 911, Islam is NOT a religion of peace. Its roots are pagan in origin, its history mired in blood, and, its god is not the same God that Christians and Jews worship.

From a geopolitical perspective, Islamic nations engage in wars on a regular basis; just look at a map, identify the Islamic countries, and count the number of wars and skirmishes that have taken place (are taking place)....you will find that whenever an Islamic nation borders another Islamic nation, or, one of another religion, there's always trouble. Why is that? If it's such a peaceful religion, then why can't muslims live in peace?

Answer: Their god is the very Satan they purport the Americans and the West in general, to be. I believe Jesus said it best: YE ARE OF YOUR FATHER THE DEVIL, AND THE LUSTS OF YOUR FATHER YE WILL DO. HE WAS A MURDERER FROM THE BEGINNING, AND ABODE NOT IN THE TRUTH, BECAUSE THERE IS NO TRUTH IN HIM. WHEN HE SPEAKETH A LIE, HE SPEAKETH OF HIS OWN: FOR HE IS A LIAR, AND THE FATHER OF IT-Jn 8:44.

God Bless America,

In Jesus' name,

Jim D
