Saudis are Mortal Enemies

Reader comment on item: [Saudi Arabia:] Not Friend or Foe

Submitted by Spyros Alvonellos (United States), May 15, 2002 at 07:24

Having spent some time in Saudi Arabia I can say without a doubt they are not only our enemies, but even worse, they are two-faced, deceitful enemies. They "pretend" to be our friends, and then declare we are enemies of their Arab friends.

Saudis say one thing but do the opposite in just about every dealings they have with us...

Our government is pleased to continue this relationship because it perceives that oil is more important than honest dealings with them. But our policy with them is flawed. You know it's flawed because we have a 16th century monarchy dictating to us, the superpower of the modern world, terms which are not in our interest.
