Reader comment on item: [Saudi Arabia:] Not Friend or Foe

Submitted by Francis W. Thornton (Canada), May 14, 2002 at 12:32

There is no surprise in this conclusion to me, a Christian, an alien to Islam.

Daniel Pipes has raised the point once again about Western oil money building mosques.
I often wondered how mosques spread so fast across a country like England; now I know. If the truth were known, the Saudis are behind the present world problems with Islam, including the hordes of immigrants turning up at ports of entry in various Western democracies.

How can one be a refugee from the middle East arriving on a 747 in Canada or the UK?

Time we all woke up. It's too bad that Jean Marie Le Pen in France, and the Dutch politician who was murdered, are the only ones to wake up so far.

The words xenophobe and racist should be stricken from the dictionary. Even the media quote these words, thus aiding and abetting the Saudis' grand scheme.
