Further Recriminations of an Elusive Middle Eastern Peddler of Terrorist Activities

Dr. Pipes, has in several instances, of posed a distrusting attitude towards a Turkiye that is as elusive as a dust 'devil' swirling in the sands of the desolate deserts; all of which make up so much of the Levant and adjacent territories spanning eastwards and filled with adherents of Islamic conspiracists just begging for a chance to pounce and reclaim a predominant Islam with dreams of ummah over all.
Does this not describe the ambitions of empire that appear to permeate PM Erdoğan's desires to rule over the Middle East?
No wonder Dr. Pipes appears wary of things happening in and around Turkiye; it almost appears to be a competition with the leader of Russia and what happens when that clash appears on the horizon?
