Reader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai

Malik Faisal Akram was a British Muslim bigot[1][2][3][4][5] of Pakistani decent, (44 at his death), believed to have flown from Britain to the U.S.[6][7][8] approximately five weeks before his attack,[9] posing as a homeless man and abused kindness by appearing as if asking for charity,[10] at a Jewish reform temple in Colleyville, TX, on Saturday, Jan 15, 2022, holding hostage 4 people.
He used profanities, 'ranted about Islam.'[11][12][13] He demanded the release of 'Lady Al Qaeda' - Pakistani "scientist" Islamic terrorist Aafiya Siddiqui, who plotted to carry out mass murder via chemical attacks in NY, among other crimes. The racist Muslim demanded that any juror at her trial take a DNA rest to test if he or she is Jewish.[14]
Jihadi groups want the U.S. to free Aafia Siddiqui.[15] U.S. News & World Report reported that, ISIS also offered Kayle Mueller in exchange as well. A group was asked by a local pastor to act as a "go-between with Siddiqui's family after the Islamic State group demanded a prisoner exchange."[16]
After hours of standoff, Akram was eliminated by SWAT team.
As is typical in recent years, (specifically with racists, bigots who don't fit one certain profile) his family tried that "he had mental issues"[7] card.

Islamic anti-Semitism: Jihadi Pakistanis "branch"[edit]

Matthew DeSarno was ripped[17] on social media with his most weird "statement" wish washing antisemitism by the Islamic bigot, anti-Semite[1][3][4][5][2] specifically targeting Jews.[18]
'Lady Al Qaeda' Siddiqui has a history of vicious antisemitism.[19]
* 'Lady Al Qaeda' Siddiqui peddled Mohamed Al-Amir Atta father of 911 ringleader's invented twisted theory about Islamist-butchery on 911. And as mentioned, she demanded DNA testing for jurors of her trial, to "know" who is Jewish.[14]
* After 'Lady Al Qaeda' Siddiqui was arrested in Afghanistan for her part in plotting al-Qaeda terrorist attacks in the US, UK and Pakistan, shooting at US Army troops as they detained her, she said the case against her was a Jewish conspiracy.[18]

* 'Lady Al Qaeda' Siddiqui dismissed her legal defense team because she said the lawyers were Jewish.[18]

* After the trial, 'Lady Al Qaeda' Siddiqui herself wrote a letter to then-President Barack Obama, according to Deborah Scroggins in her 2012 book, "Wanted Women: Faith, Lies, and the War on Terror: The Lives of Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Aafia Siddiqui" Some twisted 'theory' about Jews.[19]

*Biden reacted to the hostage taking event:[8]

"This was an act of terror," Biden said, adding that he doesn't know why Congregation Beth Israel was targeted, or "why he insisted on the release of someone who's been a prisoner for over 10 years" and used "antisemitic and anti-Israeli" language.

*Worth mentioning, at the Islamist massacre at 2008 Mumbai Attack by Pakistani Jihadists:[20]‎

According to radio transmissions picked up by Indian intelligence, the attackers "would be told by their handlers in Pakistan that the lives of Jews were worth 50 times those of non-Jews." Injuries reported on some of the bodies indicate they may have been tortured.

Islamic lobbies

The attack came after mainstream Muslim groups in the US held a "Free Dr. Aafia Advocacy Day" in Washington D.C., where they met with congressional offices and lobbied for 'Lady Al Qaeda' Siddiqui's release.[22] Especially, the Islamist lobby: CAIR.[23][24]

It's especially twisted to target a religious congregation as it worships in a sacred space. So many houses of faith do so much to help others without regard for whatever political or foreign policy issues are driving us apart.
