A further thought

Reader comment on item: Iran's Final Solution Plan

Many of the comments by world leaders expressed disapproval without (at least as reported in the article) confirming Israel's right to exist, never mind a statement of fellowship with and support for Israel. Ironically, the two that did specifically mention Israel's right to exist were from Pakistan and the PLO. And if the PLO truly believes that, what is the problem for peace with them?

In other words, it might be questionable as to what extent this rejection of Iran's hatred translates into good will and support for Israel, especially if Israel, as it did with Iraq, employs a preemptive strike against Iran - something that would not be necessary if all those comments of revulsion are sincere enough to transform themselves into world action.
