Reader comment on item: Iran's Final Solution Plan

Kevin, while your reasoning can be considered reasonable under most circumstances, you should by now understand that reason does not apply to the majority of Muslims. Some statistics indicate that over 25000 Iraqis have been killed in the Iraqi war, and the vast majority of them were murdered by fellow Muslims. As strange as it may seem to us infidels, Muslims are not overly concerned about life on earth, simply because they believe that they are headed for heaven and: Sura [4.57] And as for those who believe and do good deeds, We will make them enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them for ever; they shall have therein pure mates, stainless purity, and We shall make them enter a dense shade. Sura [44.54] Thus shall it be, and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones(end quote). The threat of death to Muslims will not deter Islamic violence, as Muslims have Qur'an promise that in the end they will win.
