Old Soviet joke

Reader comment on item: CAIR Founded by "Islamic Terrorists"?

It is about 25 years-old but still very true:
"What will happen if communism is established in Sahara? In few years there will be a shortage of sand".

It would be very nice to completely eliminate AIDS, prostitution, adultery and alcohol. The problem islamists don't see is - introducing 5 virtues would require you to violate 50 others. The idea of free education and medical services in the Soviet Russia was great. But the implementation required creation of Gulag - forced labor for minimal pay. "We know better what is good for you!" - that was a slogan. "Are you against the bright future of humanity? No? Then just do what we tell you to do, we know better, because behind us - the genius of Marx and Lenin! "

The same ideology we observe today among islamists. The same method - take an idea and use it as a shield for justification of personal ambition to dominate, expropriate, get free breakfast, lunch and dinner. Oh, my God, christians own 40% of the Egyptian wealth! Kill infidels! Jews turned a desert into a blooming garden! Kill infidels, it is not supposed to be like that, it is unfair, we were much better than them few centuries ago! There must be a conspiracy against us, fraud and hypocrisy around us, how else can we explain this unfair phenomenon?

Explanation is quite simple - don't try to establish another form of communism - you'll get nothing but shortage of sand in Sahara.
