Right- Left Conundrum

Reader comment on item: CAIR Founded by "Islamic Terrorists"?

I would describe myself as being right wing in business and left wing in many other walks of life. So it pains me to see that the only people who seem to understand the current threat from Islam are the neo-cons. I would not normally find myself agreeing with their world view but when it comes to Islamism and its true nature they are the only group who, in my view, have grasped the nettle.

Consequently they seem to be the only group who will be able to develop the strategies to deal with the threat.
I am British and the sight of British politicians falling over themselves in order not to offend our " moderate Muslim communities" is sickening. As a Dutch friend recently told me when the film director Van Gogh was murdered by a Islamic fascist the first reaction of the authorities was "to put guards outside the mosques" – sickening.

I have found that the only party in Britain remotely saying the truth about the Islamic threat is the racist British National Party.
So what's the conclusion? Many moderate people like me will move to the right – perhaps to the extreme right as these parties seem to be the only groups with any thing like the understanding and courage to stand up to the Islamic threat
