Reader comment on item: CAIR Founded by "Islamic Terrorists"?

Sharia law has never produced a functioning society in which its own groups are able to coexist peacefully with each other or with its neighbors. The only things we know for sure about an America under Sharia law is that freedom would be gone, presumably until we (hopefully) are re-invaded by British seeking to escape what is happening in their own country.

Arab culture & prominence in the world has declined rapidly in the ~1500 years that Islam has existed, in part because Mohammed was perhaps the most corrupt leader in all of human history (imagine: a politician turned prophet, whose magical message from God managed to regularly update itself to his benefit... ), and in part because the religion requires more self-enslavement, in more parts of everyday life, than any other culture or religion. The Koran is the teaching that teaches the young to close their minds forever to everything but the Koran itself; in the way that it is applied, the Koran is an instrument of intellectual death.

Yes, Islam is spreading, because foolhardiness, shortsightedness, and intolerance are slow to disappear from the human race. Unfortunately, millennia of human history show that the worst we are capable of is usually also the easiest to perpetuate. We must all hope & strive for progress - the opposite of Islamification.
