Islam's prophet set the rigid standard and validates all actions, behaviors, and beliefs. If you change Muhammad's standard, then you no longer have Islam. Change the label if you wish and then it will cease to be what it has been for 14 centuries.
The draw has always been to validate taking booty, slaves, and anything else on top of pursuing whatever sexual deviancy one wishes. This is the base nature of all mankind. Islam justifies that nature. That's the easy way. Christianity demands that the individual deny that nature and do the right thing. That's hard.
If you want the supposed "good" attributes of Islam contrary to abrogational demands, why not just switch to the belief system where it has always existed?
