Muslims Aren't Terrorists, But Terrorists Are Muslims

Reader comment on item: Smoking Out Islamists via Extreme Vetting

Dear Daniel Pipes,

Very recent journalistic reports indicate that there is no way to vet for Terrorism upon the immediate entry of immigrants, or tourists, etc. The findings allegedly show that terrorism occurs in the Long Run, when immigrants become radicalized much later. The issue appears to be the inability to assimilate.

Here's the article on that:

"The Plum Line Opinion"
"In leaked document, the case for Trump's 'Muslim ban' takes another huge hit"
by Greg Sargent March 3, 2017

The article suggests that there is no immediate threat of Terrorism by any immigrant; rather, immigrants who become Terrorists do so in the long term. And the article says that Stephen K. Bannon and Stephen Miller need to discuss the long term effects of immigration because their current tactics of vetting are fruitless in spotting immediate Terror threats - because there aren't any shortly after arrival.

This means that an open discourse is required as to what percentage of Muslims, as opposed to others, will become Terrorists years later, or will not assimilate, as is the case in Europe. In brief, it raiser the issue if Discrimination against Muslim Immigrants is Justified practically, and if so, does the President of the United States violate the Constitution thereby, the Establishment Clause which restricts Congress from passing laws restricting Religion. Discriminating against Muslims isn't Racism (though some say it is). Should the United States of America Discriminate against only one Religion, Islam, on the grounds that it breeds home-grown terrorists? And this Discrimination would not directly affect American Citizens, Residents, or Tourists, who already are Muslims; the proposed Discrimination is against Foreigners only who wish to come to the United States of America - who (some) will kill An American who will make a beautiful Hollywood Film about the Glorious Life of Muhammad the Prophet; this happened in Europe after 2004 when the Film, Submission, by Theo van Gogh, was produced and this relative of the famous impressionist painter was Murdered in the street by a Muslim who stabbed him:

Palestinian Muslim Activist Linda Sarsour is another example of how America will change in Decades when or if Millions of Muslims Immigrate to the United States:
