Hi, Tovey

I don't question's excellent qualities as a general. Politically, however, he seems about as myopic as George W. Bush, whom he criticized. McMaster said what Bush was afraid to say, namely, that he thought calling attention to the "Islamic" character of our enemies would lead to a fall-off of support for us. Both of them could not be farther from the truth: Our pussyfooting around the subject has not pacified our enemies, nor retained our friends. In fact, Egypt's President Sisi welcomes President Trump's use of the expression "Radical Islamic Terrorism":

Except for the European and Leftist snowflakes, the whole world knows that the terrorist danger confronting the world is an Islamic danger. Nobody is more aware of this than the Islamic leaders, who are more endangered than anyone else by radical Islamic terrorism. Historically, the Islamic world has lurched from one radical movement after another, with religious torchbearers competing with one another to see who can be more extreme. Even when those torchbearers come into power, they need to turn their attention to suppressing the next wave of radicals, who target THEM. Nobody in the Islamic world, of course, has the guts to say that the problem is in Qur'an itself; because this is suicidal; but nobody is in the least deluded that the problem is one of religion.
