It does not matter whether Obama is a Muslim or not

Reader comment on item: Obama's Muslim Childhood
in response to reader comment: Obama is a Muslim because Obama said he is a Muslim - always has been.

Dear Dr Pipes:

Now we should put the matter whether Obama is a Muslim or not to rest because it does not matter any more. Throughout his presidency Mr Obama demonstrated that he had little or no love for Israel and he had a soft corner for Iran. It was also clear that he had only a marginal interest in Christianity. I think in his retirement years Mr Obama will get a lot of speaking engagements in the Islamic world and he will spend more and more time in visiting Islamic nations (that is his right and prerogative). It will also be of interest to note how quickly his net-worth grows or does not grow as a result of speaking engagements (yes, it is fully legal). It will also become clear with whom his sympathies truly align.
