Great you agree with what I said and what I expressed to Mr. Pipes. You absolutely right many if not most of the traditions practiced in Islam are not in the Koran. My claim isn't bogus you in fact confirmed it what Mr. Pipes said cannot be found in the Koran. For the most part they are cultural additions justified by questionable documentation, such as I recall the Prophet said such and such. Bukhari's hadith being the most respected but not the only one..

So all of these things that you have raised are part of many cultural traditions. I do not accept cultural traditions as part of the founding religion nor would I say any Muslim is bound by them. If you are going to make allegations ... then you have to say, "Why isn't Obama left handed." Are his children Muslims? According to tradition you were born Muslim. It is nonsense and should not be presented as fact. Glad you agree.
