another dark age

Reader comment on item: Why the Paris Massacre Will Have Limited Impact

I think it's another dark age coming and we will lack the will to fight it or a strong enough belief to counter it. Islam is filling a void and not with life but with darkness and death. If the world experiences something catastrophic as is theorized happened triggering the dark ages and and the quick spread of Islam it will happen again. This belief and hope in sewn into the fabric of Islam, just the outcome is contrary to other's beliefs. On the one hand Islam claims it will be victorious in world domination and on the other hand others believe it will be defeated. It doesn't matter if you believe that or not, one or the other or neither, if enoughdo believe, then it will be a driving force behind the terror. Anyway some of those who believe Islam will not be victorious also believe that things will get much worse before they get better.

I am watching and the response of the leadership in the West is not reassuring to me and I do not see a future leader that would lead. The fear to question Islam, to confront the belief, to stand against the belief is forbidden and therefore it wins through terror. We fear what will be done to our body and we forsake our soul. I don't see secular society doing any better of a job then the crusaders did claiming they were fighting Islam for God.
