Trouble for America means trouble for the world

Reader comment on item: Republicans and Democrats Look at the Arab-Israeli Conflict

Submitted by Michael S (United States), Apr 16, 2015 at 04:20

I guess I'm a typical Republican; because I would much prefer for Binyamin Netanyahu to be be President of not Israel, but the US!

I continue to be concerned about the deep political divide in the US. That division translates into money for people like newscasters and politicians, who are pouring salt on my country's wounds for their own personal aggrandizement. Many outside the US, moreover, think that the weakening of America is good for the rest of the world. One look at Ukraine, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Libya and Yemen ought to tell them otherwise.
