WHERE IS THE COMMON SENSE?

Reader comment on item: On Closed Embassies, the Worldwide Travel Alert, and Wimpitude

Submitted by JACQUES HADIDA (United States), Aug 5, 2013 at 20:50

WHY SHOULD TODAY BE DIFFERENT THAN YESTERDAY OR THIS WEEK THAN NEXT WEEK?

We all know Al Quaida is there to stay and can act when they wish. I doubt they will tell us before hand.

Why all of a sudden are we so scared?

By acting the way we do, like closing our embassies, we tell them that we fear them and almost invite them to act. This is not to dignify the USA who has been the flag bearer of Freedom these past centuries. Today, we are letting our guards down, showing our weakness.

Is it not time for us to go on the offensive, rather than sit and wait to be attacked? Obama and his friends thought that by getting rid of Bin Laden, we solved all our problems. How wrong!!!

What is wrong with our leaders who are supposed to be smart and diligent.Am afraid they are wimps
