I wish you would say something about the Islamic desire for martyrdom and how you would deal with it. How do you deter an attacker who hopes to be killed during his attack?

I explain in my writings on suicide terrorism that suicide attacks are only attractive if one sees them as adding materially to one's cause. By implication, this means convincing potential bombers that their cause is hopeless will stop them. That's called defeating them. We win, they lose.
