Fifi is deliberately ignoring a very essential aspect of the argument

Reader comment on item: Muslim Acts of Beheading in the West
in response to reader comment: Murder in USA is acceptable

Submitted by Prashant (United States), Jun 12, 2013 at 00:35

Dear Dr Pipes,

your reader Fifi again repeated the same oft-cited but invariably wrong argument. Fifi argued that the acts of lunatic random killers in the USA are identical to the acts of the people who kill in the name of Islam. For heavens sake, how many times we will have to tell people that these two situations are not identical.

Let me explain again:

1) People who resort to random shootings in the United States, do NOT KILL IN THE NAME OF CHRISTIANITY.

2) These people do not selectively kill non-christians and

3) If they ever were to kill in the name of Christianity they will be so vehemently opposed that message boards will start melting

.4) These killers act on their own. They do not first join a fundamentalist church and then act. They just act.

5) These people are few and far between. They are not connected through a world wide movement.
