Reader comment on item: Muslim Acts of Beheading in the West

Submitted by actnow (United States), May 26, 2013 at 00:09

One has to wonder if , in view of the atrocities listed in the article, if Islam is, indeed, the religion of peace. There is no other religion that I am aware of that condones, indeed, encourages the use of unfettered, rampant violence as took place recently in London to an unsuspecting, innocent young British soldier, a drummer in fact. There is no way that anyone from any faith, including Islam, can justify what his murderers perpetrated. On top of that, they have vowed to repeat their heinous crime

It is very sad that, in accordance with our traditional Judeo-Christian values, we tend to give all people the benefit of the doubt but I think the time has come to call a spade a spade and call it for what it is, murder. The Brits need to recognize that they must change their mindset and begin to confront this this life-threatening problem before they lose their country. It is not too late but they must act immediately if they want to save their country and themselves.
