Reader comment on item: Recognizing Israel as the Jewish State: Statements, Actions, Analyses

Submitted by Amin Riaz (United Kingdom), Mar 25, 2013 at 19:45

"More than 3,000 years ago, the Jewish people lived here, tended the land here, prayed to God here. And after centuries of exile and persecution, unparalleled in the history of man, the founding of the Jewish State of Israel was a rebirth, a redemption unlike any in history. Today, the sons of Abraham and the daughters of Sarah are fulfilling the dream of the ages — to be "masters of their own fate" in "their own sovereign state."

In other words - Israel has a "special status" that no one else has EVER enjoyed. If USA practiced what it preaches. . . surely the Blacks would return to Africa and the Whites to Europe - and the land returned to the Natives.

If it was "more than 3000 years" - than what did it have to do with "forcing" these people on land - which was never theirs for thousands of years?

One can go further back . . . the Jews took the land by force. It was NEVER theirs.

- - -

Who was it that murdered 6million Jews? Ah - the Europeans. Upon whose hands the Jewish diaspora suffered the most.
