Ali Baba does not know that he does not know

Reader comment on item: Fashion at Turkish Airlines
in response to reader comment: Dhimmi has a problem with reality, lol

Submitted by Ali Karp (United States), Mar 9, 2013 at 15:35

Ali Baba makes assertions that do not hold in the face of modern science.

For example, he says alcohol causes liver disease. Sure, if you drink a bottle of pure alcohol (750 ml) every day you'll have problems. However, a glass of red wine contains only 90 ml of alcohol!

The rest of his assertions are either stretching the truth or over simplifications which do not hold out under scientific scrutiny.
