US / Israel were not 'allies' in 1967.

So much of those claiming a 'conspiracy of silence' get this one important point wrong: the US and Israel were not allies in 1967.

The US did not support Israeli efforts to avoid this war (see 'Regatta' plan, etc) and did not support Israel diplomatically.

1. The USS Liberty was a spy ship and it was possibly radioing the outnumbered Israeli troop movements to Egypt. Egypt's military was 'blind' (no airforce, no electronic) to Israeli troop movements and locations. This offset the immense Egyptian advantages in numbers and numbers of tanks and other combat equipment.

2. The idea of the Israelis murdering Egyptian POW's is nonsense. Just racist propaganda.
