Evidence from Quran that Allah did rescue non-muslims in the past

The following is the evidence that muslims did rescue non-muslims in the past:

Taha, Chapter #20, Verse #80, "O YE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL! WE DELIVERED YOU FROM YOUR ENEMY, and We made a Covenant with you on the right side of Mount (Sinai), and We sent down to you Manna and quails:" (Yusuf Ali's translation)

If Allah demands muslims to slaugther non-muslims, he certainly demanded muslims to slaugther them when they met them in the past. Yet they did rescue the children of Israel in the past.
