Thanks, Morgaan for the information you provided, it is interesting indeed. Of course keeping women in an inferior position would have a correlation to the high birth rate, and vice versa. I find it both sad and ironic that the Western countries, frantic about global warming, encourage their people to have less children. In my neighborhood in California last year, a committee was going door to door to persuade people to have less children to ease the burden on the earth... I wish this fatuous theory was more popular in the Middle East, but unfortunately, they are not privy to the dire conditions of the world.
